The National Association for Working Lacy Dogs

Welcome to the National Lacy Dog Association! We are a dedicated group of owners and breeders determined to keep this special breed true to its working roots. Developed in the late 19th century to work hogs in the Texas Hill Country, the Lacy Dog excels at hunting, herding, tracking, treeing and more. They are driven and gritty, built for agility, speed and endurance. True representatives of the state's rugged heritage, the Blue Lacy is the State Dog of Texas.
