Welcome guys!

It is good to see y'all made it. We haven't brought many people over yet, so it's pretty quiet at the moment, but please jump in.

To all the new members,

I want to let everyone know that we welcome your input and questions. I hope that you will find this forum to be helpful, informative and fun. We have people here who have raised lacy dogs for years, ones who have worked their dogs for years and ones like me who are still learning about the lacy dog. If you have a question, or just want to talk about your dog, feel free to jump in. Thats what makes a good forum.

sholland has joined and I dont know if that is just Shannon, or will be Shannon and Thomas Holland, but they are very special friends of mine. They have my pup, A-rod, AKA Cyrus A-rod.

Joe McHugh joined a couple of days ago. He lives in Maryland and has my pup, Andy, now known as Blue. And, of course, there is Kevin whose family has 2 of my pups. Of course, they are special too!!

I hope that we will soon have many more and we can really get to sharing experiences.

Betty

Hey, Chad!! Glad you're here! Havent heard from you in while!

How's that pup doing? I had an email from Joe who lives in MD who has your pups brother, a tri like yours. He said that his pup nailed a 100 yard track on a deer during their muzzle loading season. Of course, I was really proud! I love to hear about my pups and their accomplishments!

Again, welcome everyone, please tell us about you and your Lacys!

Betty, how old are those pups now, 6 months? A successful 100 yard track at 6 months is awesome!

my avatar pic is from an archery hunt when sage was 5 months old. he found 2 deer on this trip, the first was a 6+ hour old gut shot trail. tracked about 3/4 mile and recovered his first trail. he wasnt to sure what that was at the end cause he was used to a chuck of meat  the second was my buck that i went back to camp and got him just to let him track the deer. the guys that had been tracking the gut shot deer were amazed and couldnt beleave how that puppy "burned up the trail". we started at the shot site and he blew right past were they had gone on hands and knees. as for angie, she is a handful. but then again so was sage, she is quite agressive with dogs other than my pack. i dont mind that at all but ive already had to pull her off another dog lol. shes only 6 months. she is wanting and wlling to learn and she really is a sweet dog, loves to go for rides in truck :O3
