There are two post oaks in the creek bottom (they are completely hidden by the cedars and elm) and several live oaks just beyond that.

stay tuned....I'll show 'em to you! :)

Man, y'all are getting things done!

Bet those oaks will get bigger now that the trash plants are gone.

Not wasting any time, are you? Pace yourselves! :))

Just kidding...I'm glad you've been able to get so much done!

Closed on a little piece of Texas hill country land today.

Your land looks great! My job keeps my family here but I prefer the hill country. I'm about to begin work on land I closed on yesterday. My land is wooded but there isn't too much brush. I'm gonna clear enough for the house, garage, a small yard and place for the dogs. I'll post some pics as it comes along.

Looks like a lot of work but judging from your pictures its definately worth it.

we will at least have the structure enclosed :D

Probably be roughing in the plumbing in the living quarters next week -

still need to get the well going and the septic tank in.....then trench the lines for the well, electric and septic

concrete going in couple of weeks from now, then frame the walls (2 days), electrical (2 days), drywall and painting (1 week), pop in temporary air conditioning and we are in business!

it's all on schedule unless we have to leave to go work somewhere (so we can actually pay for it....) ;)

Sounds like a plan!

Hope that the well people are on schedule. We are still limping along with our old well, waiting to hear from the driller. They are very far behind out here.

Beams are going up today...
Four I beams cut, bent and welded.

Drove to liberty hill to get the sky track to set them in place, since they weigh in at 1000 pounds each ! ;)
