My name is Shon Barrett and I am new to Lacys and new to this forum. I have been interested in the breed for several years but never had the proper space for a Lacy. Now I am moving my family out of the concrete jungle and into the piney woods of Huffman Texas.

I contacted the NLDA about finding a pup and was referred to a few breeders. I decided to purchase a puppy from Bobby Wilson and I am picking him up Monday. I have had several conversations with Bobby as well as John Wyble and am impressed with how dedicated they are to the breed and to helping me as a (soon to be) new Lacy owner.

This forum has been a great resource as well and I am looking forward to being part of the community.

Thank you,

Shon Barrett

PS - Happy Father's Day to the dads out there.

Picked him up yesterday. He's a beautiful dog. He has a strong prey drive and tons of energy. He's going to be a lot of fun (and work)! It is hard to get a picture of him with a camera phone, he's all over the place......

He's a cute little dude. I like that he only has a little white on his chest.
