We have been invited to participate in a Lone Star Bowhunters event at the Bass Pro Shop in Pearland. Right now, the date is set for September 14th but we need to confirm that with Bass Pro before we really start promoting it.
I will be doing a blood trailing seminar and a shed antler dog seminar. The timing might be really good for a blood trailing seminar since I expect the TP&W proposal to pass on August 23rd. Even if it doesn't, I'm sure the seminar will be a great opportunity to educate East Texans on the topic. There should be lots of interest.
We are looking for volunteers. Not just for the dog stuff but for the LSBA. They always need volunteers to help with the kid shoot, ect.
Let us know if you are interested in volunteering. Thanks!

East Texas? I'm in friendswood. I prefer to group myself with central

I can very likely help out. Probably the closest to me an event will ever be. What do you need help with?

I'll be there to help as long as I don't get forced on overtime. I'll know a few weeks before.

Sadly...and much to my disappointment...the event at BPS has been cancelled. I'm working on something so we may still have an event before deer season. Stay tuned...

unfortunately this was tentatively scheduled with the LSBA,
however schedule conflicts prevented much assistance from them.

apparently, some people actually hunt and eat ducks :-o :-o and this was the teal season opener....

and the Operation Game Thief trailer was already spoken for with another event that weekend.

On the positive side, we will be having the seminar at reveille peak ranch the following weekend :D

For some reason I was thinking teal opened on the 15th. Didn't made sense why it would open on a sunday but tpwd has done weirder things.
