Well we were invited to the 1st Brush Country Big Hog round up in George West, TX this past weekend as a vendor ... and we brought NLDA with us and promoted like there was no tomorrow!!

Sobrina Maguglin was the one running the 3 day hog hunt event (dog/knife & dog/gun categories) and is also an owner of Lacys! FB page: https://www.facebook.com/bighogroundup
and website http://www.brushcountrybigbuck.com/.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Wesley Jennings and his wife Monte who were also part of Brush Country Big Hog Round up and are also Lacy owners and breeders. I didn't get much time to talk with them both but Mr. Wesley and Shane had a good chat. :) Very nice people and they are the breeders of Karen's Lacy Roux in Louisiana.

Just thought I'd share the few pictures I was able to get between customers. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 828&type=3

It was a great time even with the rain right after the weigh in. Met a lot of people who have lacys, so it was a wonderful Sunday with lots of great people and great exposure for the NLDA!

We had a great time and look forward to their next round up ... we've already been invited back once they get the next event set.[/color]

We did pretty good, might have done better if the rain didn't hit the same time as everyone hitting the vendor tables, but it was still a good day. :D
