I'm such a proud Lacy Granmommy!!! So far every pup is doing great with their training and some are already working for their owners! Gunner has been on 4 dove hunts and has been finding the doves the "humans" can't find, blood training and clicker training ... Wyatt has been blood training and is doing a track everyday, yesterday 40 yds and 2 90 degree turns and today a 65yd track with 1 90 degree turn!! And according to Sergio he going to try to get him up to 100 yds by the weekend! Smoke (aka Smokey Duke) is also doing well with his blood training and is staying on track each and every time! Nehi is still a going and doing well on her blood training as well. Billy & Trigger are being introduced to hogs and may be seeing them this weekend @ the Blood Trailing/Antler Shed hunting/Snake Avoidance Seminar @ Reveille Peak Ranch this Saturday. Waiting to hear an update on Dally from her cattle herding/hog hunting training.

You should be proud!! You and Shane worked hard with those pups and the new owners are continuing what you have done. Hope to see some of the pups this weekend!

Yes I was Betty! I had Gunner sugar kisses all day at the seminar. Trigger & Billy's family had some trouble getting there in time ... but they we able to spend the night with us so I got me some sugars and gave some tips on training (courtesy of Granmommy) for Trigger & Billy ... I posted more pictures from the event on the FB page.

Well looks like Wyatt completed the 100 yards yesterday so my new goal is to get him at 150 before opening morning which I think is SO POSSIBLE.
Yesterday it was 100 yard trail with 2-90's and only used 1.5 ounces of blood. He completed it in less than 3 minutes

Thanks again lauri awesome pup!

Awww I think I'm going to cry happy tears!! Wyatt you are turning into an amazing tracker at such a young age just like your mama. Sergio you are they type of owner we, as breeders, love ... you're working your pup and he's growing into a tracking star!! Keep it up and thank you so much for the updates. You don't know how much that means to this Lacy Granmommy ... Can I get some updated photos when you have time? I want to see what he look like after not seeing him for oh ... 9 days :)) :x
