If you are thinking about introducing a Lacy puppy to children, take a look at our new article for a few tips: ... and-puppy/.

Always remember that Lacys are very energetic and driven working dogs. They are usually too much for small children and kids of all ages need to learn about proper dog handling. Educate yourself, your family and your Lacy to create a happy home for everyone.

Do have any tips on raising Lacys with children? Please share! Proper socialization and training, for the pups and the kids ;), is so important.

I enjoyed your post on your website. My "looks like a Lacy" rescue puppy is very, very smart and sweet. Not so maniacal as you all describe your Lacys but she does love to hang off of our senior dog.
