Well i finally was able to let glory see a pig last friday. And it dident go so well. But i guess i cant blame her. It was a pretty good size boar hog that my dads cousin traped and we moved it to our huntin buddys round pen. I guess we would go about 150-160. He had alittle attitude about him. I had another young dog down there about a year old redbone, and when i let them out of the truck and walked them over to the pen. the redbone went up to the pen, and started to bay, and the boar hog ramed into the fence, and glory took off. Finally found her under my truck. Need to trap something her size. and hopefully she will do better. :)

Yikes! Be real careful when you're introducing pups like that. I would see if you can't just pick up a little one from someone or visit their pen with some pup-training pigs. The people on ETHD are nice about that and you could probably find someone near you. I started my pups at about 8 weeks on a little 30lb pig which we put in a crate first, then on a rope, then we started to move to him out into the brushy area beside our house, still on a rope. And then freakin Levi got out and ate him, so that was the end of that. :))

Hey Brian, for sure I would get something a little smaller. We do not have anything right now but maybe we will catch something this next month that you could work with. I will let you know if we do.
