Does anyone know if bld has ever been used as a police k9? From what I've read they appear to have the ability to be good tracking dogs but I would like to know if anyone knows if they could also be trained to do bite work

I do not personally know of a Lacy in K9 police or military. .... But I do know I would love to have one of my pups become the 1st (that I know of) to try. ~Lauri

Thanks for the reply. I will talk with a couple of trainers in my unit and see what they think. I've been in the K9 unit over 20 years and I've worked shepherds and malinois. What I've read and seen about Lacys they seem like good working dog with strong drives. Hopefully something can be worked out.
