So we didn't get anything on Sunday, but I figured since the dogs usually spend 95% of their time actually hunting rather than baying, these shots were sorta fitting. I brought Sadie, Steve brought Brutus and Ares, and we did a quick run on two ranches near Blanco and Wimberely.

I used to live right on the Blanco river in the most pristine and beautiful part of the country. We saw plenty of deer, hogs, and coyotes out there. Too bad it was a rent house -- we got kicked out for having too many dogs! lol.

I love the pictures Julie! I've been begging for a good digital camera! And we are investing in a video camera so when Maggie learns to hunt, we can capture every minute of it! ;)

Julie that picture after the Moo-hawk (4th pic) is such a vivid portrait of conditions in the Hill Country right now ..dry ...
