Since bow season will be starting soon, I thought that I would issue a challenge to those out there who have blood trailing dogs to take lots of pictures and lets see how many stories that we can get put up on the forum! We are always in the shadow of the hog hunters who take lots of pictures and will tell lots of stories. So lets get those pictures taken and the stories told this year!!

I will take more pictures this year, unfortunatly for this site, I will only be running one Lacy on blood, just going in a different direction with my blood dogs. I have one cat/hound cross that if she does anything close to what she did as a pup last year, should be a hell of a dog, my blue gyp was running some hard tracks last year as a 1 year old and I have high hopes for her, and I am running a 1 year old blue cur for my partner, this dog is a full brother to my blue gyp. So this year I'll have my hand full, Im glad I have to shoot over 100 does to get some work for these dogs.

Dang, Jerry. I was counting on you for plenty of stories and pics! I've always enjoyed your stories in the past.

We do still have Keven and Shelby. Maybe Brent will post some stories. Havent seen Courtney around in a while, but maybe she will pop in some. I know that she does a lot of trailing. Any of you others that blood trail, please take pictures!!

I forgot about Chad and Ria- so this is a shout out to them too!!

Keven, we'll take any pics and stories that we can get!! Shelby does a good job and I'm sure your son will too!

I may do some serious tracking this season too. Looks like my husband will be home and he can go with me. I've always been a little leary of going out by myself. I have no sense of direction and I am too big of a chicken to take any calls at night by myself. Of course, I've never gotten many calls, but havent done much in the way of advertising.

I LOVE the tracking and watching Lucy work! I would like for her to find a couple of really good deer for some big hotshot hunter!!

Betty, if you post up the basics, like phone numbers and availability and the area you'll serve, Steve and I can put it on TBH. They usually have a blood trail dog directory going. It would be great to hear more stories of Lucy tracking.

And Jerry, I say post stories no matter which dog you use. Whether it's a Lacy or a Hines 57, there are lessons to be learned and cool pictures to be had.

Last year they tracked for me and my family only, while training. This will be their first year on the tracking dog list, but yes if you are on the GON tracking dog list you get a lot more calls than you can handle. With my shooting I keep'em pretty busy. :))

The boys look good, Scott (but not happy about getting their picture taken)!

Amber I made them sit and stay, then I slid them in place like a piece of furniture. :D They don't know if they're in trouble or getting a treat. :))

It stands for Georgia Outdoor News, a Georgia hunting magazine. They have a trailing dog list every year, and also an online forum called Woody's that keeps the list posted.

Woody's gets a lot of traffic, right now there are over 1200 viewing.
