Well I don't usually give my dogs a chance to hunt by themselves; I usually hunt with other people and their dogs. After work on Thursday, I suited up the girls and took them out behind the house. I told Amber we were just going for a walk and I'd be back before dinner was ready.

The girls were hunting good and had checked in a couple of times. I heard Aggie sound off about 2 or 300 yards out, and it wasn't long before Sunny & Piper joined in. Me and Shelly got about 10 or 15 yards out, and I tried to get a little video, but it was pretty thick and you can't see much. You can hear the dogs baying, so I'll put it on here anyway.

I cut Shelly loose and he was a caught hog. He was only about a 150# boar with barely over 1-inch cutters, but I was proud of my girls.

Wish I could do that just on a walk behind the house!

It is amazing what you can do on a walk behind the house. Last year we killed two lions and a 32" 8x10 within five miles of my front step.
