Mike took Trapper & Brutus along with the Mayas on an invite hunt to a property he has wanted to run for years this morning!!HUge THANK YOU to Chris (*) Aside from being ecstatic to be out running dogs on this place along with good running company, Trapper and Brutus were rock stars!!

Stevo I`ll start with Brutus :D among all the chaos of 15 citified kids and deer hunters..along with other dogs(15 or so) unfamiliar to him..not one growl or raised hackle...WAIT it gets better ;) Brutus hunted out consistently over 100yrds, ranging many times 700 and even 1000 yards at one point. He HUNTED is ass off. :-BD and rode in the box with 6 male dogs and never was there a problem one..he also struck his own pig... :D

Now Trapper...Trapper did what Trapper does..he ran them boys ragged from one bay on to another. Ranging an average of 200yrds to over a mile upon several occasions, striking one hog in a down pour..he refused to come off so Mike and Chris had to send in the Mayas and then leg that pig in a total down pour, in a ravine..that served as a creek due to the morning rains. Mike said Chris matched him step for step and never complained..gotta love die hard hog doggers!

Maya & Blue Maya got to catch em' some pork ...lots of pork.

Total for the day 11 pigs ranging in size from 30lbs to 150lbs. Nothing huge but freakin'
runners! The boys along with help from from the other dogs shut them down though and tore them up!

Stevo I`m supposed to tell you Mike LOVES :x this ranch..and you'll be getting to go soon enough ;)

11 down a couple million more to go! AND no injuries!! :-BD

Wow, 11 hogs, they did rock it (*) And you know I love hearing about Brutus kicking the right kind of booty.
