Here's the story: I shot an ole Arkansas swamp donkey on Monday morning before work. I went home before I trailed it and got Remi to see if she might be able to follow the blood trail since we had done two mock trails earlier in the year. Well all she did was check every tree around the blood...which is what I mainly want her to do so I guess I shouldn't be complaining. I used a different collar, a bell, and a long lead...any thoughts?

No picture of her working but her is the doe I shot...still kinda orange from the summer.

Chula will follow a blood trail pretty nicely. If you try running her on more mock trails, put something real tasty at the end. It's good to know that she's looking for squirrels, though!

You might try to drop a little pieces of liver along your mock trails if you want her to stick tight to it. How, what did she do when you got to the deer? Did you give her a little liver? Bet them donkeys are good eatin...lol
