I hate to hear that Steve. My experiences have been like yours, growing up in West Tx seems like our dogs got rattler bit twice a year but none of them ever died from it. I guess it all depends on the particular dog, particular snake, and exactly where the bite is.

Wonder if yall plan to have another snake proofing workshop? I may be moving to Amarillo and being more of a smaller town (half of Wichita's population size...around 200k people), the homes are more spread out and lots more are in rural areas...there's gonna be more snakes outta there and I need to snake proof my dog.
