Got off work alittle early last friday, so i called dad to see if he wanted a quick run. He called one of the landowners that we hunt and he said he has seen a few last week. I took my Young Redbone female "Bama" my cur dog " Cleo" and my Catch dog "Buck" Dad brought his red bone " Rebel" cur dog "Gypse" and his catchdog. Droped out at 2:00pm, Bama and Gypse started barking within 5 min. Bayed a boar hog about 160 in a creek. Turned the catchdogs loose caught hog. Got the dogs off and sent back out. Rebel Bayed another about 150 yrds out. just turned the catchdogs loose from where we where. before the catchdogs got there the hog broke. It broke right back to us :D they caught it about 50 yrds from where we caught the boar hog. Caught hog. It was a Big Sow went 244. was back home cleaning hogs by 3:30PM Very Quick Hunt.

That sounds like a great hunt with the old man. I'm glad to see that everyone else is getting back to the woods also.

Thanks Guys.

Amber: Yea i cant wait to put her in the woods. Thats the only down side of pups is the Waiting period.

D.J.: Yea she was a big one. When we caught her we just thought it was a Barr with its teeth broken. Dident notice it was a sow until we started draging it back to the truck.

Steve: Yea it feels great getting back into the woods. My wife cant say the same though :D
