Looks like I have missed all the events... Are there anymore planned for after July?

Not that I have my dog yet but I would love to come and watch.

You didn't miss everything this month. There is a bay competition this Saturday the 18th in McCoy and another on the 25th in Bremond.

I'll be at the McCoy bay this weekend and I'd be happy to meet up with you. I don't know if there will be any other Lacy people out there, but my dogs will be glad to give you a little show in the pen, if you wanted to see some Lacys in action. :)

I will try to make it out. Are there any event set up for Lacy's only? Or are they all mixed events?

I think we were talking about getting a group hunt together here on the NLDA. I don't don't how that's coming along, but I know it'll be a good time.

The bays are all-breed. I know that alot of Lacy people have been making it out to the Bremond bays lately, but it's just too dang hot to sit out there all day for me! lol. The McCoy bay will start at 5 pm, I think. I may be the only person with a blue dog there, but I plan on running at least once.

Yeah, we definitely need to work on an NLDA hog hunt. I know it is really frickin hot, but it would be great to meet up again. We've done a mostly Lacy hunt Laredo the past two years for the Hunt for the Hungry, but March is a long way off.

There has been some discussion about a fall event, either blood trailing of hog baying, but it wouldn't be closed to only Lacys. The NLDA would sponsor, which would draw in more Lacys, but we'd let anyone that was interested compete. It's just nice to have an excuse to get the Lacys working together as often as possible.

If I do a bay this month, it would probably be Bremond on July 25. It starts early in the morning, and there are usually a few Lacys hanging around, but more of us showed up to support the TDHA last month than usual. I may take this month off though, it's so dang hot!

116 degrees today here in Phoenix... but it's a dry heat :))

Just please give a fair amount of notice for an NLDA get together, because I really want to make it.
