Good luck!

This is the first time they've really promoted that Diana bay. I was told it used to be more of a practice thing, but baying in general is getting so much more popular. Definitely give us a report on the pen.

We did go to the bay it was good. It ran way be hind schedule so we did not get to run but 1 run and that was Patch in 1 dog am. He did not due to well he was around 35 out of 44 dogs. He dosen't run by himself much but thought we would try it. He started out well then got hit hard in the hind quarter and backed off the hog and would not stay in.It was the hardest I had ever seen him hit. I do think it was good for him he has been getting real catchy lately. We had to leave Sat. night. It was nice place and turn out was really good . I think they will be doing more bays there from what they said. We will try breemond next weekend.

Sounds like Patch learned a good lesson. You'd be surprised at the hits they can take, I've seen some brutal ones in the woods, but at least he backed off instead of getting mad and diving for an ear!

I just Googled it and Diana is way further than I thought! But it sounds like a lot of folks had fun and liked the judging and the hogs. No matter where it's held, I need to get out to a pen soon. It's been about two months and I know Sadie is getting the itch. I'm busy the next two weekends, so I'm shooting for one of the May bays.
