So here's the deal...Jes and I are going to try and plan a trip to College Station one weekend in May to check out the college and think some more about moving to get my masters. Does anyone know of an event close to College Station that several folks on here will be going to sometime next month??

I'm not sure what weekend it is, but the TNT baying is held monthly and is less than an hour from CS. I think it's usually the 3rd weekend every month? Julie can correct me.

That's sounds cool! It would be nice to finally connect a few faces with names!

They haven't set a date yet for the May bay, but the next one is April 24 so May 22 is a pretty safe guess. And it is certainly the closest event to College Station. I'm planning to bring Sadie to their May bay, I bet Camo will be there and we might be able to talk some other folks into making the drive. It would be neat to finally meet you guys!

The TnT Bay in confirmed for May 22 in Bremond. Sadie has a cough right now, but we'll be there as long as it clears up. And that means I'll be looking for some running buddies Camo! Maybe we'll finally get an all-Lacy team in the money :D

Chris, I hope you and your wife will be in town, I think TnT is the best place to experience your first baying.

Hey sounds good but Patch may not be running that weekend he got in with one bad hog last weekend in some practice training. The hog had taken it good to some other dogs the night be for but I did not find this out till Sunday and it was to late by then. So the hog beat him up pretty good. He may be good to go but will see . I will have sammy there and see who I can run her with she only likes to work with Patch. So we will be there hope to see some other Lacys Bay .

I'll try to be there, too, if my dad will let me drive up there. My hound, Moonie, is rockin' it in the pen. I may run her with Levi or Ox. Diesel could use some experience in baying with a crowd and all those other dogs, too. If yall need partners, I will try to bring some of my pack. We are planning on hitting the brush hard in McCoy and Devine after school lets out, and we need to get a little refresher. lol.

Camo, I'm so sorry to hear about Patch! I didn't realize he'd gotten beat up so bad, or is this a new injury? Though I can say Lacys are resilient dogs, many come back from injuries madder at the hogs than before.

I was just informed at our monthly meeting on Friday that to accommodate a massive site update, almost the entire company will be required to work May 22-23 so we don't interrupt the usual flow of business. Yes, the CEO is somewhere between Hilter and Stalin on the crazy leader scale, and I've yet to learn if we'll get any real compensation for it. But I'm most disappointed about Sadie missing a trip to the pen. My fingers are crossed for June...

Julie he just got cut in a bad spot but he is feeling a lot better and recovering quickly now. As far as getting him back in the pen should be no problem. He was readfy to go back in 5 minutes after he got cut. I do here that there may be a high points in June and may have a really good pay out . Sorry you can't go this month . Still counting on Rachael to go .

I think we're coming this weekend -- so long as my dad doesn't get an overtime shift. :D I will probably be bringing Levi, Diesel, and maybe my hound, Moonie. We can run with you if you like, though we've never placed so it may be a waste of an entry fee. lol
