Were you the one who caught the pic of the sow biting Lucys tail? The swelling is finally going down some. Bless her heart!! She didnt know that those things could bite!!

Poor Lucy! I think her pride was hurt worse than her tail. That little sow was pretty tough.

Yep, I'm sure it hurt- not just the tail, but her feelings too!! But, I wanted it posted so that if anyone is out there thinking 'man- those dogs are just too mean to that pig' that they would see that if you give the pig a chance- as Lucy did- they will get you!!

I put her back in the pen later that day to make sure that she didnt leave with a bad taste in her mouth and leary of the pig. She didnt get as close for a while, but after a minute or two, she was back in the pigs face. That was only the 2nd hog that she has ever seen, so I was pleased with her work!

Dogs eat pig ears, pigs eat dog tails :D

Glad it's only Lucy's pride that is hurt

Awww, poor Lucy! It is no fun when your toys attack, but I bet she won't turn her back on a pig again :)

That's why I always chuckle when someone says they know how to train a hog dog. People just work hog dogs, the hogs and other dogs do most of the training!
