Yes, drag Jimmy over! Dusty will hold her own in the bay pen. And maybe he can bring Aggie and meet the Middletons in Bremond. Do you like how this thread is turning into me hijacking everyone's weekend? :)) If only I could figure out the way to guilt Mis into bringing Abby... I'm open to suggestions.

Chad, if you think there is a decent chance one or both of the twins will make it to Bremond with you, it wouldn't be a bad idea to join ETHD and put up a post in the Dog Trade section letting people know they'll be there. If that process isn't immediate, let me know, I can do it for you. I might be able to do TBH too, but it's probably a little late for that.

Mike has offered to get Aggie from Jimmy's for us. If he and Mis decide to go to the baying, we will definitely be there!

Does anyone have directions to the baying? I know how to get to Bremond, but not where to go after that.

Woot, the Lacy crew is coming together! Well, Lacy plus poodle ;) I assume that's the dog Lamar has been trying to socialize.

Amber, I'll look around to see if there are exact directions, but I think you'd be coming from the opposite direction I drove in last month. The actual address is 8255 FM 2954, Bremond,TX 76629. If you enter it into Google Maps it looks pretty accurate.

Julie,
Yes Carver is back at my house only now he is staying with us a while. Hopefully we can get him where he needs to be so he can pass his Peanut training. He just lacks socialization...and of course you know my house is GREAT for that. :)) He is not the first "shy" dog we have worked with, however, he is the largest..and fuzziest :))
We will haul him to the Bay to expose him to massive amounts of noise and people.. ;) but he wont be in the pen.. [-x :))

So I guess Aggie is going home via the Mike & Mis bus tour? I am glad to hear that. We would like to go one weekend, but we have a birthday party to go to this weekend and we would be the bad family if we didn't go, sometimes having family sucks!

We might need to talk to Lamar about this poodle thing! Pits and poodles?????

:)) Shannon Lamar's job entails working with many breeds. Where he works they train dogs for Drug Dogs and Peanut detection for children & adults with life threatening allergies to peanuts.
It's pretty awesome what they do.
Now separate from that Lamar works with problematic dogs and obedience training. He also breeds & raises Pits and is active in the Catahoula world.
I NEVER know what he is bringing me :)) My house is his lunch stop pretty much every day.

He will be at the Bay comp. this weekend. Not sure if he is bringing his bay dogs or which one(s) he will bring but he will be there.

Lamar could walk around with a poodle on a pink leash and still make everyone pee their pants, including Sadie! He really is an incredible trainer, he knows how to explain it to the people just as well as he explains it to the dogs. If he is doing his bite dog demo at the bay, I'm definitely taking pictures.

Mis, I'm so excited y'all are going. Who are you going to bring? I need to decide tonight if I want Steve to bring Brutus in town. It just seems like a big hassle if I'm running around taking pictures the whole time.

I have actually told Mike that I don't want us to take dogs this time...just network a little.
They are doing the bite seminar which is part of why we are going.
I want to watch without the nerves involved so I decided not to take Abby. She is doing so good but I want us to work with her a little more before deciding to commit to the bay pen scene.
