Thanks, Amber.

It was kinda funny when I was taking the pictures- Lucy was standing in the bluebonnets and I started to take the picture when she moved. So, I told her to get back, sit, stay- all of those kinds of things. As I was working to take the picture, I looked up and Larry was sitting- doing all the things that I had told Lucy to do!! He's a good dog!! ;)

If I'd a known that I was going to take pics of the dogs, I would have put bandanas on them, just for you!! :)) :))

Betty, the pictures are great! I figured I would post mine as well; however, mine did not come out nearly as good as yours. You see Maggie was in the middle of herding cows so her focus was not on sitting and staying... you work with what you can :)

I think getting the state dog with the state flower is pretty neat... too bad we couldn't get some other Texas favorites in there (I don't think an armadillo or roadrunner would last long near a lacy :ymdevil: )

I'm a fan of bluebonnet and blue lacy pics. The wildflowers were gorgeous down 35 several weeks ago when I was hunting with SteveW at JerryG's. My plan was to make a few stops on the way home to take some pictures but a family emergency rewrote those plans for me. :( Hopefully she'll gain enough strength for us to do a road trip before they're all gone in the hill country. It's looking like we may have to wait until next year. :-s

Pretty pic- Shelby!!

Ed, I'm like you, love the pics of the lacy dog and the bluebonnets!!

I'm glad that Sandy is doing better. Sounds like she has a ways to go yet. I hope that she continues to get better and will be able to go see the bluebonnets soon. I am going to Round Rock tomorrow, looking forward to seeing the wildflowers along the way.

Beautiful pictures!

I just took some wild flowers pics of friends who are getting married next month. I've been resisting the Lacy-blue bonnet shots, but I may have to break down and do it after seeing these. The flowers are just so good this year, who know when they'll bloom like this again.

Ed, our thoughts are with you.
