She is the total package...beautiful and proven working ability. DJ and I are proud of her!

She is definitely that! Courtney and Luna and Rowdy were here yesterday and Rowdy has amazed me in just how much she has learned since the last time they were here. Rowdy is learning not to just ' rush' the cattle. She still wants to chase them, but now she watches them and will come off when called off. She went for a walk with me, Roy and our dogs yesterday and she came when Roy whistled. Larry jumped a jack rabbit and away she went. She is always out there, running, tracking and just being a good lacy dog. She's good with the other dogs and is also learning that she cant chase my cat. Now that's an accomplishment for a high prey driven dog like her!

She's a good lacy!

FYI Courtney--The owner of Rowdy's brother Ranger (tri male) sent me an update from Alabama last week.

He hunts for a living, and is hard to please when it comes to hog dogs (his words). He says Ranger is is one of the "hardest going puppies he's ever hunted with", and he went out 1.9 miles and bayed off with his lead dog one day last week.

We are really happy with the two that we kept from that litter, and it makes me happy to hear someone else say the same!

Rowdy sure is growing up!! Great news on both her and Ranger. Poor Sam is falling behind because we haven't had to the ability to work him like he should be. He's coming along in tracking slowly (he's always wanting to wind scent more than anything), we hope as things get better (health-wise for Shane and financially with the new business) we'll be able to get out more especially once Belle's pups are born too. So much stuff in such a short period of time. But you watch!!! We'll be right back on top in no time!! :-BD

Lauri, y'all are doing well with him...just keep giving opportunities, and he will show you what he can do!
