These dogs are not "officially" sanctioned by the NLDA. We can make no guarantees about their personality, working ability, history or lineage. But we do feel it is important to get them exposure so they can find their forever home. So if you know of a Lacy or Lacy mix that is looking for a new family, feel free to put it up. But do not post litters unless they are with a rescue organization.

Working home seeks 1 to 3 year old Lacy GYP. Recently lost my GYP, she was a good hog dog and companion for my male. I would consider taking on an older puppy that has been started, if anyone knows someone looking to give away a female or rehome for cheap. Please contact me with the information. DW 903-818-3384 or jonez000@yahoo

Papers are not neccesary.

I don't know anything about this dog but I just received this email.

From: hannah musgrove <h-michelle@live.com>

Quote:
To whom this letter may concern,

I am currently fostering a red coated Blue Lacy for a no-kill shelter in Hearne Texas. However, the rescue is over crowded and Robin does not have any prospects for adoption.
I was wondering if you could put me in contact with any Lacy rescue groups or potential adopters ? Robin is approximately 20 months old and 40lbs. with a shy temperament. She is very sweet and loyal once she get to know you, but she prefers slow introductions. She is good with other dog, cat, birds...etc, is fully vaccinated and has been spayed.

Thank you for your time

You might send her an email. h-michelle@live.com

If the damn shelters would stop spaying every dog they get their hands on more people might be interested in adopting a few!
If they want to do something, why not offer to spay them and charge less to adopt if you don't want it done?

Animal shelters don't care about breed. Their goal is to reduce the homeless animal population. In their view, fewer dogs born equals fewer in shelters.

Here's one on Craigslist in Houston. Sounds like a Lacy who just needs a job.

I just noticed there was someone here on the board looking for a home for a female. Don't know if it would be a match but you might check it out.

You might contact Mike Savoy he has a lacy posted in this section the dog is a little older than you wanted but sounds like she is a pretty good dog.
