I took the boys out for some practice this afternoon. Laid a really easy 200 yard strait trail, built for success. Let it lay for about two hours and the ground was perfect with the recent rains. Once again neither of the dogs showed any interest in it!! ~X( I do not under stand how they will work a live track but will show no interest in a mock trail. I really need to do some work this offseason but it gets me so mad when they do not want to work. Any ideas?

When did the dogs eat and when did you run the mock trail? What are you using as a prize at the end of your trail? Whatever is the item or thing they like the most in the world, I would start running some very short tracks and let them find that at the end. Then slowly build the length. Do they have a lead or a harness dedicated to tracking?
