Don't laugh at any of my puppy voices I tried to video it as best as I can on my phone ;) .

This is the pups first intro to liver, they have been intro to blood already and we found these Kong Tire toys to hide treats in and we were also laying little foot or so little blood trail with a lil liver at the end. ... sooooo enjoy my crazy video and I hope the next one is better.

Well I couldn't upload the video so here's a link to my page ... until someone can tell me how to load a video! :((

Thanks James!! We're trying different ways to get them to use their noses since commands are not known quite yet. Every single one has shown interest and more, we are very excited to see them progress and hope they continue with their new owners.

Those babies are looking good!!

Just a note- too much liver will give dogs the runs for a while. If you dont want to clean up a mess, just be careful. It certainly wont hurt them, but too much liver will give even adults the runs. ;)

Thanks Betty, after reading all the raw info you gave me awhile back I was very conscious of that factor of "runs" ... so they all only shared about a handful size of itty-bitty liver pieces ... and boy did they love it ...

Anyone have any freezer meat they want to get rid of?? I could certainly use it! Belle is about to eat us out of home! She's constantly starving no matter if she just ate or not.

Good for you! Hopefully others who are reading this will remember it too. Most dogs love deer or beef liver.

I think it was Ben that Robby was training when he was pretty little- Robby tied some fishing line around a chunk of liver and dug it a ways. A bit later, he turned Ben loose and away he went. Before we could even think, Ben had found the liver and swallowed it whole!! Line included!! :)) Rob looked at me with this funny look on his face as to what to do. Then he pulled the line pretty good and the liver came right back up!! :)) :))
