Maybe some one can help me here.

When we are butchering a deer, there is a part that I cannot find out what it is. I have searched the internet, well, at least the first 3 pages on deer anatomy and cant find what I am looking for. There is a part that is close to the liver, looks like liver as far as shape goes, but when you cut into it, it is different, kinda rough, bubbly looking inside. It also isnt nearly as bloody as the liver. Anybody?

I just found out that deer dont have a gall bladder, which explains why I never found one. The kidneys or kidney is really small as compared to a cow!! Also, they location explains why I seldom find a kidney. It must usually go out with the stomachs and intestines.

Deer have 4 stomachs. Guess most of you guys know that, but I didnt. I knew that they were like cattle, but didnt think about them having 4 stomachs. And, they have 67, yeah, 67 feet of intestines!! I learned all this, but couldnt learn what I was wondering about? Amazing, huh?

Spleen sounds reasonable. No, no picture, but if we get anymore deer this year, I will. If its not shot out.
