jpepper This is a good site to ref for Raw feeding

http://www.rawmeatybones.com/petowners.php

One additional point I would like to point out and did not mention before.... there is an almost cult like feeding group out there called BARF or BARK Diet, the diet promotes eating raw bones veggies and fruits and every peice of info provided or food suggested is directed to their products which is making this vet a lot of money and most of the products they promote are unnessessary. Same with processed raw not sure how good it is but it is a lot of money. Do yourself a favor if it is not free advice on raw feeding look elsewhere

Thank you all for the information it's quite informative! Got more then I was expecting actually.... :))

I plan on introducing them around the first of the year after this season is over with and see how they do. I will make sure to keep you all informed cause I'm sure I'll have more questions down the road.

As far as the rowt/lab mix Lucy goes that dog belongs to my girlfriend and she would rather just keep feeding dry kibble. btw, any recommendations on kibble considering we've been using Innova and it turns out we should take our business elsewhere after all. I just claim Lucy because that dog will listen to whatever I tell her, completely opposite of my girlfriend. :))

That's funny! I just caught what I had said. Oh she listens quite well so far, haha! It's her dog Lucy that doesn't listen to her but rather myself.
