Last weekend, Larry hurt his foot somehow. We never figured out what he did. It wasnt swollen, there wasnt a thorn or anything in it that we could see, so I really didnt know what to do for him. He hobbled around here on 3 legs for 3 days and it just wasnt getting any better. We tried wrapping it. Of course, all the good that that did was give him and Abe something to chew on. I had some homeopathic cream that is arnica montana and it seemed to help for a while after we put it on each time, but didnt last. So, when I was in town, I got arnica montana in pellet form. I finally saw a little swelling on the top of his foot, so I continued to put the cream on it. I gave the pellets to him several times on Wed. without seeing any difference. Then, on Thurs, he began to walk on the foot a little. By that afternoon, his foot was fine. Arnica is great for swelling, bruises, sprains and the like. You can get it at health food stores and places like Whole Foods or Central Market.

Mrs.Betty you asked for the name of the sav I put on the dogs. Mine says Fura Zone, it is for horses, but works great on dogs.( It says not to get it on your skin). It will make the hair grow back. Addy tried to take off her side on the picnic table and now after using this stuff I have to really look for the cut. It should have had stiches...
