hey raw diet gurus got a pregnant dog shes on raw diet any suggestions on any thing I should add to diet get best results. This is not her first litter just want to do whats best for her.

Just feed her like you usually do. She will probably want and need more food than usual, but keep up the regular 80/10/5/5 percentage. Dont overfeed liver while she is pregnant and towards the end, she may reject bone and if she does, dont worry about it. She doesnt need a lot of extra calcium towards the end. If she wants it and eats it, thats ok, but if she doesnt eat it, dont worry about it. Pretty simple.

Betty thanks for info your the best raw diet source out there.How bout raw fish heads do they have any nutrinal value.

Sure, fish heads are good. I wouldnt fed a ton of them, but some once in a while would be fine. The brain in the fish would be good for the dogs brain and the eyes have benefits for the dogs eyes. The people who follow the true prey model diet would say that fish are not necessary, which they really arent but I say feed them. You should work towards feeding red meat as most of the dogs food, but some fish certainly will be ok. And, if thats the only way a dog would get brain, then thats even better.
