New pic from just now..once I got Abby to quit licking him.. :))

Oh and after a visit with the vet..apparently what I thought where ant bites..are not..they are however a reaction/irritation to what I have been cleaning the whelping area with. #-o ummmmmm yeah I did this once before with one of Ellie's litters years ago, forgot all about it (CRS I guess)
I`m a bleach fiend when we have pups..especially since the folks behind us just lost pups to parvo :( despite drying the floor, apparently there was enough residual to irritate the pups. :ymblushing:

On the weird-colored reds -- I will have to get a new picture of my ugly puppy. We decided to keep him because we really want to see what he is going to look like. His tail is perfectly tri-colored -- blue on top and red on bottom! The rest of him looks like red with a faint blue undercoat. I can't get over how strange he looks...

I am inclined to agree Jimmy... ;)
It's interesting to watch and see what happens though..and sorting through lineage to see what we may have missed..

Even though this litter was born early, which I think maybe due to Abby's size and the fact she was carrying 6 pups, they are all growing quick and appear healthy as full term pups.
Abby continues to be an excellent Mama which is awesome to see !

Oddly enough, Fly Boy's chin is now turning blue. First the skin, now the hairs.
Watching the nose, as its darkening some.

I tried taking pictures..but I`ll have to wait until Steve & Mike get back and I have some help..got a great picture of Abby's tongue on my lens though. :))
