We never ship puppies. We've offered to deliver puppies for a fee, but I ALWAYS want the buyer to see the dog in person before it leaves my hands.

Every airline has a different policy. Some allow small dogs to travel in the aircraft cabin as part of your carry-on luggage allowance, while others will only allow them travel in the cargo area, and the fee can cost as much as a passenger ticket.

When I flew with Ace last year it cost $400 and he had to go in the luggage area. We had to obtain a health certificate from the vet, so there was an exam fee too. The temps in my departing city and layover city were in the 50s but it was 90 in the arrival city. They let him fly anyway but he was so stressed out and dehydrated when we picked him up, I would never put him through that again.

I would only fly a puppy if I could purchase a ticket and fly with him in my seat.

My pup loves to fly around the back yard :D . I am not a breeder, but I do agree in not shipping the pups via air.
