Julie,
I finally ran across the pictures of Christy's pups from three years ago. This was a very nice litter of pups. The sire was closely related to Luke and the dam was afull sister to Lucy (my dogs dam, from Jimmy). This litter had more red than blue; a large litter of pups. I didn't take that many pictures and the pics don't do the color justice. Silvery blues and a beautiful silvery red.

So Rebecca, were there noses actually pink, or was that just the lighting? Would you say they were Weimaraner color, so more greyish, or did they have more of a red tint? I'm asking some of the genetics people what they think. It is the nose that is really crazy. My initial guess is they are dilute livers, which are sort of like dilute browns, but not really. Of course that shouldn't be something that just randomly pops up, so I'm going to do some research.

Julie,
This pup's nose was pink. And she was what i'd call a "champagne" color with a shimmer to her coat. Christy said she was red but as you can see next to the red pup she's really a different color. And she had several Blues that were as light as you'd see a Weim (the light light blue in the pic in front of the champagne). These pups had a shimmer to their coats. they were stunning colors but I was so spooked by the red nose that I did not get her. I emailed Marlo and she said that Lacys did occasionally have red noses. But I admit, I'd not seen many Lacys other than my own and Bud's; in fact, I never realized what a cream lacy looked like until I saw pictures of Secret. The pups, in the picture, that look red and blue are just that...
This female looks like she may have shed out a light chocolate cause she looks a little darker around the nose. I've pasted the link to horse colors that I can equate closer to the color of these pups.

That is what C.C. looks like, that champagne color.
Mike calls it yellow.
