well my baby boy got a nip by my dads part lab/pit this past weekend, and while its not major only one tooth mark it could have been worse, he does lick it every now and then. i am just worried about infection setting in and want to be able to see it gone and some hair over it so is there any thing that will help me out with out vet meds and a cone? its been a week but very little change.

here is a current picture of the nip, it doesnt bother him. but i just want it to look better

looks like it is healing - keep it clean and put some Neosporin on it frequently.

it's just not a lacy dog without a few scars! :D

gonna fit right in......

Looks like it's healing to me too. Sam had one on his hind left hip that took forever to heal over but it never became infected. He now has a nice little scar there. Now just from my experience, watch for any swelling or foul smelling discharge that will need a vet's attention in my experience. Our heeler Luc's father got him in his front leg around 6 months old. It ended up swelling and needing a drain tube. Hope this helps.
