Post subject:  Trav has some hair loss... Need advice

Hi, sure has been awhile since i been on, trav has been ok but here lately he been itching, biting, etc he has been to the vet recently he had a skin test (had a spot shaved near the itching location), blood test and x ray (he been at the pet hotel and was pretty ill then my other dog caught it) so everything checks out on trav.. Dont think thats cause he had some signs of skin problems before.. He has antibiotics but i dont think those would help

1. Could my vet say the did and not do it? I used the same vet and never had a issue
2. Flees, i doubt it I hardly see them plus he been getting the same flee pill for awhile now

I have tried some high dollar shampoo... But since i been pretty busy i do it about one a week
Would that tee tree oil (thanks betty i still have it un opened) help me any?

The affected location is hips and belly..
Maybe this will help

Could it be food causing this he has been on the same stuff as buddy, for about 2 years (can't really afford the good stuff)

This scratching is recent i don't remember him having this when he was younger besides them 2 round spots

Its not contagious i sleep with him, and buddy stays in the same room (at times) and he doesnt have hair loss

Could itch reliving cream help (i have his cone so he cant lick it) i just hope he can look normal again
