We let the puppies track a pig and bay it last night. This was their first time without the pig being in a cage. I thought several of them did really well. The red puppy in the video is still available.

Chief's been the official puppy trainer for years. :))

Please excuse my redneck husband with no shirt...he told me not to get him in the video, but I couldn't manage it.

OHMYGOSH! Those pups are so cute! :x I love the look of that little red male. Gosh, my dad would kill me if I asked him for another dog. lol

Diesel got to run with Ox and his mama on Saturday and he got whacked by that little pig. He spent the whole rest of the day avoiding coming near that dead pig. I'm sure he'll have forgotten by next time, but it was pretty funny to see him hiding in the bushes.

Yeah, it was the first time we let him run with the big dogs. He'd seen pigs before and had bayed. We'd walked him up to the trap and let him bark, too. I don't think he'd been hit before, though, so I think that just caught him off guard. I was just proud that he made it to the bay and didn't get lost and head for the truck!
