Bull finished 11 th in 1 dog and Patch was 14 out of 26. Patch got his bell rung he tried to catch and him and the hog smashed heads sound like he was hit with a hammer. It almost knocked him out. He could hardly stand up he did not even know were he was. It took him a few to shake it off.2 events left

Well we got in at 5:30 am to Hutto. Unload and fed dogs and put them up hit the bed at 7:30 am . I just got up 11:30 am checked on my boys. These dogs deserve everything they won this weekend. They really had to work hard for it, they are beat up and tired. The they had no quit in them and were just down right gritty and tough. I am so proud of what I saw in these 2 dogs. Patch is looking better than I figured he would . I can tell he is very sore and not his normal self. I think he is going to need a little time off. Bull is sore and was pretty gritty himself this weekend. He found out what it was like to really get hit hard by a hog. He got tossed in the air about 2 feet and landed on his head . He almost thought about quitting for a split second I could see it on his face. I did not say a word and he just went back to work . It was a make or break moment for him and he passed. I guess last weekend at the tracking challange got them fired up. LOL Not sure were we are at in the high points they will have totals posted soon. There were not a lot of dogs here but there were several Earls winners so I do not expect to be high up in the High points . Lots of perfect scores run and we did not have one. Our texas group did really well we dominated this event taking the majority of the top spots. Bull has now put his first win on the board and a second place. Patch can add another second place to his. Great weekend people are talking about Lacy's in Missourri I promise you that !
