I have access to the colors of this whole litter. AGAIN ANYBODY THAT CAN ADD ANY DOGS AND COLOR will be helpfull. I will keep a running Document of any dog that anyone cares to add. resulting litter colors would be helpfull

Grandmadawg

I have 7 pedigrees that i am working on for this research. after i get enough information on colors on each pedigree and information on resulting pup color. my goal is have as many differant pedigrees as I can get.I will post it for everyone. Courtney I would love to have Luna's pedigree, Fred your two dogs pedigree would help. I know that most of you don't know all the colors of the dogs in you pedigree, but if i keep digging , I should be able to get most of them. PICTURES, IF YOU HAVE THEM. Thanks again

Burkes Maximus was tri and Dixie was red. I have pics if you care to see them.

I love that you are doing this!

Thank you Betty, that added two more colors to my pedigree. Yes if you could send pictures it would help because I have collected several pictures all ready in this pedigree. If I can get access to pictures of older and now living breeding dogs and resulting litters I will add to my research. I can only do this if people will help. I am adding my email so if people don't want to post information on an open fourm, it can be sent to me direct.

Thanks again

Mixing of Colors, The Resulting colors in the Progeny of Lacy Dogs
Goals:
1- To map out as many Lacy dog’s Color Pedigree as possible.
2- To calculate the number of different colors in said pedigree.
3- To find common ancestors in said pedigree.
4- To document the color of Progeny from mixing three different colors.
5- To document the resulting, non-acceptable colors resulting from mixing three colors.
Now for me to do this, I am going to have to make many calls, emails, get doors slamed in my face. Told it is stupid, will not prove a thing, what differance does it make, ect.ect.
If I can get this done, I believe it will give Lacy Breeders some answers of why we are now getting so many color combos in our Lacy pups. I PERSONALLY believe as a breeder, I would rather produce a full litter of acceptable color pups , then have some of the resulting pups with "off colors" Maybe I will find a common anscestor in the pedigree, that has produced so many off colors. Maybe I will find out that our off colored pups are results of mixing three colors for years. Who knows what I will find. But one thing is for sure, I cant do it without help, especilly from the old time breeders, who is still alive and still remembers these foundation Sires and Dams, and what color pups come from the cross's and the now genaration of breeders, shareing their pedigrees and resulting colors they have got from breeding.

Thanks Bluedog, I only need to find colors for 3 more dogs in Taco's pedigree then extend her pedigree as far as i can go. I now have 9 more pedigrees of differant cross's to work on , and expecting to add more to the list. Time will tell. I will have to have hundreds of differant pedigree crosses before i can show a pattern. [Sure glad I have spell check on my color project] :)) :-?
