These dogs are not "officially" sanctioned by the NLDA. We can make no guarantees about their personality, working ability, history or lineage. But we do feel it is important to get them exposure so they can find their forever home. So if you know of a Lacy or Lacy mix that is looking for a new family, feel free to put it up. But do not post litters unless they are with a rescue organization.

Well, Rosie has done a good job in the field. She just found a deer for me last week as a matter of a fact, 1 for 1 this season. But she seems to have never fully recovered from her spay episode last year. This dog has been tough since day one, and I simply cannot trust her when I'm not around. I keep telling myself that we'll turn a corner somewhere, but it seems we take one step forward and 2 steps back. She's super sweet at one moment, then for no apparent reason she's pissed the next. She is really good at tracking, and for that reason, I keep trying. But no matter what I have done, she still seems to lose her mind almost daily. If someone out there has the knowledge and will to handle this dog, please contact me. If it was just me, I could handle her no problem. But with my wife 5 children, I can't do it anymore.

2 year old red female, to good strong home.

Justin,

I'm sorry to hear this. I know that it hurts tremendously to have to give her up, but you are doing the right thing. I hope that you can find a good home for her.
