The annual NLDA meeting will be held August 10th at the home of Amber and DJ in Alto, Texas.

The purpose of the annual meeting is to conduct association business. It is open to everyone, and NLDA members in good standing can vote on matters that require association approval. In addition to making sure your voice is heard, you'll get to meet other members and join in some fun Lacy fellowship. Since this is a business meeting, we won't have any official working dog events planned, but we will have a bay pen set up and there will be other informal opportunities to participate in fun activities with your dogs. Food and beverages will be provided.

In the upcoming weeks, the nominating committee will meet to discuss and accept nominations. If you are interested in running for office, you should contact a member of the nominating committee.

After nominations are closed, ballots will be sent to all current NLDA members. Results of the elections will be announced at the annual meeting and posted on the forum.

The deadlines for nominations and voting will be announced. You will be given adequate time to review the nominees and cast your ballot.

We will post more information as it is available. But if you think you can attend or there are topics you want to add to the meeting agenda, please let us know.

Jamie, most people will probably be there all day, but we can set a specific time for the meeting in case anyone isn't able to stick around. We usually do it in the afternoon. Is there a time that's best for you guys?

IF......

my barn builder will get moving, we will have a place to get in out of the heat :D

We have also talked about heading down to the lakehouse for abit.....either way, might as well have the meeting inside during the hottest part of the day.

Maybe 1:00 or 2:00 ???

I think the porch at the lakehouse would be perfect if the barn isn't ready.

It will probably be just me heading down. Wyatt has hockey all weekend so Jim will take him. Just trying to figure the timing for a day trip.

Unless someone objects, I think 2 p.m. would be a good time.
