I thought I was done for the year a couple weeks ago, but land owner said I could make on last run today. I took Aggie, Pearl, Howdy, Hattie, Rooster, and Pansy. We were not there 10 minutes and they bayed 400yds out, for a minute and broke to the creek about 700yds and bayed.

Me and Pansy got a 200 from them and they moved about 60 yds other side of the creek . I turned pansy loose from about 25 yds and watched the rodeo start. He was about 200lb + , The first couple of seconds I was not sure if my 40lb pit was going to cut it but the others jumped in and it was over.

When he stopped kicking I checked the dogs and Aggie had several cuts and Howdy had one. I put them on leash and headed for the truck. I would have leashed the others also but I had my hands full with 3.

We got half way to the truck and Pearl and Hattie took off. Aggie and howdy were no longer limping. I continued to take them to the truck while Pearl and Hattie looped down to the creek , down the creek back up between me and the truck and on to the edge of the pasture, and bayed. Which was about a mile loop. I Got Aggie and Howdy to the truck and headed to Pearl and Hattie (had been bayed for about 30 min when I got there)

Turned Pansy loose and had about a 130lb sow caught.
I was pretty happy with dogs thought they did pretty good. Although I am not going to like the bill I get from the vet. I was a good hunt and me and the dogs had a blast.

Sorry for no pictures of the dogs. I broke my camera a couple months ago, so I did not have one with me. After I got all the dogs situated I got Amber's camera and went back to get some pictures, the boar's head, and some meat.

Nice! At least you had a good hunt to last you!

Hope Aggie and Howdy will be ok.

Appreciate it guys. We did have a good time. I went and picked Aggie up today. She is fine, although she will be pretty dang sore for a few days. She sure lives on the edge. Vet said both wounds were very close to being serious. Anyway yall take care D.J.
